My mother once said to me, " I'm not telling you something I was told, I'm telling you what I know for a fact." and I thought she was CRAZY! Boy, was I wrong. So to the generation born after 1990, this if for you....... Not be harsh, but sometimes it pays to just shut up and listen to your elders! They have probably been where you are trying to go twice. Believe me, some of these roads are easy to go down but hard to come back from. I know its hard to believe, but we were young once... A long time ago we really were. We only want what's best for you, because we can now tell you what we know and not what someone told us.   Enjoy your day and love to ya!

Isnt That Something?

Isn't it something that we can take the smallest problem and blow it up three fold?

Isn't it something that although happiness is a choice, we can find a reason to be sad?

Wouldn't it be awesome to open our hearts to the love of salvation through Jesus Crhist  and know that through his grace and mercy we are saved?

Dont you know that you dont have to go another day without the wonderful gift of salvation?

But you would rather be sad, lonely and let the devil just ride you to the ground?

Isnt that  Something? You dont have to feel that way!!  I hope this helps someone, no I know it will help someone see that you must put yourself on God's side to be on the winning team.

DONT ASK, GIVE THANKS, ITS ALREADY DONE!

We somtimes find ourselves running on empty. We need just a little more energy, a little more time, a little more money, a little more peace. ! For those of us who are in the word of the Lord, know that God has everything we need before we ask. It says so right in the Bible Matthew 6:8. So instead of being redundant and telling God what we need, start giving thanks that its already done. Stay Inspired, and Love to all, Joyce

Thirst for Knowledge

If you can be trusted with little, you can be trusted with much. I am not talking materially this time. I am talking knowledge and wisdom. A little wisdom, a little knowledge, can carry you a long way and not just book knowledge. Big fancy words carry no weight if you dont have a clue what they mean.(and are using them just so everyone knows you own a dictionary) God gave us all a thirst for knowledge. We just have to know when to fill our cups. But also know when not to waste it foolishly. Love to all, Stay Inspired, Joyce

A PARENTS LOVE

My father died yesterday.. My last living parent. I can't describe this feeling of being in the world without the love of an earthly parent. No one can or ever will love you that way. I am so glad I have a heavenly father who loves me so much. There would be no other way I could get through this. I will miss him just as I did when my mom passed some 15 years ago. What I am happy for is that I am saved by the grace of Jesus Christ. If not, I may have become angry.. But I have to fill myself with the love of Jesus that passes all understanding. DECISIONS!! DECISIONS!!!

The easiest decisions always seem to be the hardest ones to make. When our soul is in turmoil over a life decision, we already know the answer, we just dont want to be roughed up by the change. I admit, I am not the most patient person in the world, but I have found that when I wait on God, it always seems to come to me clearly. Thats right! Give it to God, and the decision will be divinely guided so you will know you the right decision has been made. Happy Sunday and Love to all, Joyce
