NOW THATS SOMETHING TO BE THANKFUL FOR!!

It been a little while since i blogged, but since we are so close to Thanksgiving, I had this sort of, revelation if you will. At Thanksgiving, we let the ones we love know that we are thankful for them and all that they do for us. But this year, why wont we be thankful for the ultimate gift? The gift of salvation offered by our Lord by sending his son? I dont know about you, but for me that is something to be thankful for!! Without that gift, I would be nowhere!! FOR MY SISTERS....... I LOVE YOU!!!!

We all can find some member of our family to complain about. They get on your nerves, you can be in the same room with them long, blah blah blah, but no matter what, if you were in a bind, you know they would be there in a flash. I wish i could say that me and my sisters have always had relationship , but we have not. Lately, though we have come together like we should have been all our lives. Its good to know that I can call Shunda or Shay and tell them about my day and know they really care. I cant believe i had been most of my life without it. My mother (God rest her soul) would be so proud of us. But i guess this is how it had to happen. We had to come together on our own. And i am glad of that. Love your siblings, even when its hard. You may not see the reward now, or ever, but its still your blood so... Love it!! Stay inspired, Love Joyce

FORGIVENESS.. TO GET IT YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT!!

It is so easy for us to tell someone," I forgive you," but in my experience, i have found it is easy to say, but not always so easy to do. The situation that caused the problem would show up in my mind and i would get mad all over again. The apology would become worthless!! It took the Holy Spirit to abide in me to be able to offer full forgiveness!! Ask the Holy Spirit to offer you the its spirit of forgiveness!! How can we expect how heavenly Father to forgive us, if we are not willing? To get, forgiveness, you have to give it so, Stay inspired and Keep God in your heart, Love to all, Joyce

WHO IS YOUR SUPPORT SYSTEM? (IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE GET ONE!!)

I will be the first to admit that I have never had a lot of friends. Not by choice, but by chance the few friends that God has blessed me with have been people I have known nearly all of my life,(like my longtime friends, Kemyata Davis and Candace Thomas) and people that God knew I absolutely had to have to stay grounded in his word,(my prayer warriors at work,you know who you are!)I give a shout out to these people today because for one since, its my birthday, it gives me a chance to reflect on the support system that I have used over the years. I am glad that God blessed me with such great people. I love you guys!! FAITH THAT MOVES MOUNTAINS!!

Just a little faith has the ability to move the mountains in your life that seem too big to even fathom moving!!! If you cant go over it, under it or around it, you just have to knock it down!!! In my personal life, I have found that it has been consistent prayer and faith that has gotten me through a many of lifes hard knocks!! Let your faith move mountains for you. He said just the size of a grain of mustard seed,( I hope you have more than that, but if you dont, its definitley enough to get God's attention to your problem! How Special YOU Are!!!

Yes YOU!!! You are special!! God made you the way you are for a reason!! There is a purpose for him wanting to look at you and ponder you!! He has great things for you to do for your life, according to his plan!! You are his special creation!!. How wonderful it is to know that God loves you enough to want the best for you, even if you cant see it at the time!!!. You are Special, God Loves you Very much!!! and so do I, Love to all, Joyce

DONT FIGHT CHANGE!! (if its for the better!!)

I have learned that when change has to come, no matter what tries to stop it, it will only delay the inevitable. When the time comes for you to change or a situation to change, our human side wants to fight it, because we get comfortable with who we are. Even if we know its not the best person, situation, lifstyle for us, the thought of giving up a part of ourselves that has been with us so long can be downright scary! But when you know it in your heart the change has to happen, start bending toward it just a little, and watch God step in and guide you!! Dont be afraid of change when its for the purpose of God, Embrace it!! Many times we let our fear of change keep us from being the person God has purposed us to be, so Dont fight change, if its for the better, let God work with you!! . That you wont regret!! Slow Down!!

Whats wrong with slowing down a bit? I think this is where a lot of us lose our focus on God!! Rush! Rush! Rush!!. Today, take a minute to open your Bible, find your favorite verse.( I love Psalms 91) and slowly read it, meditate on it, see what God may be trying to tell you, but you were too busy with life that you missed it! I hope this activity will bring you spiritually closer to God. It really helps to slow down and listen to him.!! So slow your pace and seek Gods face!! He wants to talk to you!! Even when you think its not
Even when it seems hopeless
Even when it all seems to to be too much
Trust me, All is well with those who trust in God!!
He knows what you need, as well as he knows what you DONT need!!
Trust in God, and lean not to your own understanding!!

Pray without Ceasing!!

Always Pray!! God wants to hear from us!!! He wants to do great things for us, but he needs us to come to him!! Go to him and tell him the things that are on your heart!! If it is according to his plan and purpose, he will answer you!! Jesus came so we could have life and have it more abundantly!! In lay terms, he does not want one that believes in him to suffer!! That you will seek God's purpose for your life!!

The devil cant stay if we dont make him welcome!!

THE DEVIL IS BUSY, BUT I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE HIM THAT MUCH ATTENTION!!!

Why is the devil so busy trying to take things that he should KNOW by belongs to God? I say let's not give him the attention and praise God loud and proud!! He has no power over us so, lets pray the devil off!! I challenge you, my friends, tonight to pray that we can all be in the purpose of God!! The devil hates that!! I belong to God, and will tell the world that i do. So when the devil trys to take your attention, focus on GOD!! He has given us what we need to be strong. Know the people that are important to you!!

There is someone we all know that we can go to when we need that little bit of encouragment. The people that God has put in your life to show up when you need them, or you can go to when your spirit is empty. My friends, I encourage you to go to these people and pray with them. They are there for a reason!! I have so many people to keep me inspired, even when the devil tries to tell me other wise!! The are call PRAYER WARRIORS!! Its not over!!! Keep Marching on!!

It may seem bleak, you may want to quit, but I have learned that just when I am about to be truly blessed and, I mean what I call a big girl blessing, the devil is all over me. What he knows is that when the Lord is about to lay his hand on you, as the old saying goes, not a devil in hell or on earth can stop your blessing from getting to you!!!  So if you feel down, like its not coming, Its not over!!  Keep Marching on, God is waiting to give you the desires of your heart if it is according to his purpose and plan, Stay Inspired and Love to all, joyce

Pray for AND with Someone in Need!!

Sometimes when people are going through their own storms, instead of asking for a friend to help them weather the storm, or first and foremost asking God intervene, they tend to take it out on you, or make you think its you that is wrong. I have learned that when people lash out, most of the time its a cry for help. If you know someone lik this not only pray for them, but pray with them. We are here to help each other and if we can show our stewardship towards our fellow man, it please God... So stay inspired, and Love to all, Joyce

Let nothing get you down!!

When your dream is in progress, and you see that God is doing his work.... Here it comes!! When you are doing something according to Gods purpose, you can almost guarantee that devil is coming!! In the form  of friends, naysayers and whoever else that can cause you to stumble on your journey. Stay Inspired!! God put that dream on your heart because he wants you to use it for the uplifiting of his kingdom!! If it is truly what you want, Keep your dream alive within you with prayer!! Its Going to Work Out!!!

We pray and think God is not listening. Its not just me, we all have been there once or twice, but dont you know, thats when we should be thanking God that he is disciplining us to know how to take care the the blessing we are about to receive. Although money is a nice blessing,(I can always use that one) sometimes its just contentment that brings the most joy. Comfort in your heart and soul, knowing God his working it out!!
