YOU CANT DO WHAT YOU DONT KNOW!

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge the Lord and he will direct your path.. We think we have the answers..... As long as we understand why were are doing something, that is all that matters.... THEN it fails miserably and we cry and beat our heads against the wall wondering what went wrong..... OUR understanding! Thats what went wrong. In this life of mine, I have learned that everytime Joyce tried to do something with my all knowing self, I made a mess of it. But when I acknowledged God, and humbled myself, I was shown the direction in which I was to go. My friends, Do nothing without consulting with your Counselor, for he is all- knowing and well..... Happiness... Simplified

What seems to be the most simplest thing that can make you happy? I mean something money cannot buy, happy? Too often we forget that happiness is not in the quantity of days , but the quality in the way we spend our days. For me, something as simple as a thunderstorm makes me happy. With each rumble of thunder, I can close my eyes and forget about my troubles as God washes and cleanses the the earth. Find your happiness plain and simple in a rain shower, smell of flowers, or the sun shining on your face. Simply be happy. Love to all, Joyce

Let not your heart be troubled!

A truly troubled heart. One that wets your pillow with tears and steals your sleep. One that makes your wonder if you did something wrong to deserve the outcome thrust upon you. My friends, Jesus said let not our hearts be troubled. Trust in him. COMPLETELY!!! Give your troubled heart to him. Lay it at his feet and he will renew you. Love to all, and Say inspired... Joyce

NOW THATS SOMETHING TO BE THANKFUL FOR!!

It been a little while since i blogged, but since we are so close to Thanksgiving, I had this sort of, revelation if you will. At Thanksgiving, we let the ones we love know that we are thankful for them and all that they do for us. But this year, why wont we be thankful for the ultimate gift? The gift of salvation offered by our Lord by sending his son? I dont know about you, but for me that is something to be thankful for!! Without that gift, I would be nowhere!! So when you and your family are gathered around that enormous feast this year, Thank God for Jesus!! I know I will. Stay Inspired and love to all, Happy Thanksgiving!!! Joyce

FOR MY SISTERS....... I LOVE YOU!!!!

We all can find some member of our family to complain about. They get on your nerves, you can be in the same room with them long, blah blah blah, but no matter what, if you were in a bind, you know they would be there in a flash. I wish i could say that me and my sisters have always had relationship , but we have not. Lately, though we have come together like we should have been all our lives. Its good to know that I can call Shunda or Shay and tell them about my day and know they really care. I cant believe i had been most of my life without it. My mother (God rest her soul) would be so proud of us. But i guess this is how it had to happen. We had to come together on our own. And i am glad of that. Love your siblings, even when its hard. You may not see the reward now, or ever, but its still your blood so... Love it!! Stay inspired, Love Joyce

FORGIVENESS.. TO GET IT YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT!!

It is so easy for us to tell someone," I forgive you," but in my experience, i have found it is easy to say, but not always so easy to do. The situation that caused the problem would show up in my mind and i would get mad all over again. The apology would become worthless!! It took the Holy Spirit to abide in me to be able to offer full forgiveness!! Ask the Holy Spirit to offer you the its spirit of forgiveness!! How can we expect how heavenly Father to forgive us, if we are not willing? To get, forgiveness, you have to give it so, Stay inspired and Keep God in your heart, Love to all, Joyce

WHO IS YOUR SUPPORT SYSTEM? (IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE GET ONE!!)

I will be the first to admit that I have never had a lot of friends. Not by choice, but by chance the few friends that God has blessed me with have been people I have known nearly all of my life,(like my longtime friends, Kemyata Davis and Candace Thomas) and people that God knew I absolutely had to have to stay grounded in his word,(my prayer warriors at work,you know who you are!)I give a shout out to these people today because for one since, its my birthday, it gives me a chance to reflect on the support system that I have used over the years. I am glad that God blessed me with such great people. I love you guys!!
